How To Plan A Weekend Trip With Friends!

Sometimes you just need a break from school life and college towns and a trip to a city! Taking a weekend to go to a fun place with friends is a great way to refresh yourself. Here are some tips on planning weekend getaways with friends:

1. Transportation

Decide if you want to drive (or zipcar) and fill the car with people to be cost efficient! If you don't want to drive, check train and bus schedules.

2. Living situation

Pick a place to stay over the weekend that works for everyone's budget and is close to the area you want to spend your time in, that way you will spend less on uber when going place to place.

3. Itinerary

Plan out a schedule for the weekend, so you make sure you get all of your favorite spots in!

4. Document it!

Take pictures and write down addresses, so the next time you're in that place you can go back to the places you liked!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.
