As a senior applying to colleges, one of the most important things to look for is tuition. No matter where you go, you're going to be paying ridiculous amounts of money. Luckily, a lot of schools offer things like work study, loans, scholarships, and other ways to help pay for your education. Oh, and you can't forget everyone's favorite thing to do, FAFSA! What you don't know, is that there are other ways to pay for college without draining you and your parent's life savings!
1. Selling organs on the black market.
That extra kidney, do you *really* need it??? Probably not, paying for college is probably more important.
2. Tune up your "exotic" talents.
There are lots of things you can go out and do! Street artists can make really good tips! Just make sure you charge for pictures...
3. Find a rich couple to adopt you.
Kim & Kanye...I promise I'll wear nothing but Yeezy Season 3 and I'll change my name to something starting with a "K", just PLEASE pay my tuition??!!!
4. Become a Vine star #MagCon
I don't know why or how, but Vine "stars" make bank, especially if they attend MagCon. If you can get a couple million followers and loops on the app, you're set-- I feel like this can apply to all social media stars.
5. GoFundMe.com
Every time I go on Facebook, I'm seeing some form of a GoFundMe. Why can't my friends raise my money for tuition?
6. Sugar Daddies/Mommas.
Love knows no age....right????
7. Sue someone. Anyone. For anything.
People sue other people all the time. I mean come on, that one lady sued her nephew for hugging her too hard!
8. Go home. All the time.
Somehow you have managed to find a way to pay for college, now you just have to find a way to keep money so you don't go broke. It's okay to go home, say it with me people, IT'S OKAY TO GO HOME. You won't be tempted to go out to eat, go shopping, or spend money on unnecessary things.
9. Live in a box.
One of the biggest reasons paying for school is so hard is because room & board is so.unbelievably.expensive. Who needs a bed? Or a room? Or a roof? Just get yourself a tent and camp out on the quad.
10. Understand this is all just sarcasm and you really have to do your FAFSA and apply for scholarships.
Ladies & gents, please do your FAFSA and your school's financial aid programs. They have scholarships for literally everything so apply for any that you qualify for, you never know if you'll get it or not. Any little bit helps so it doesn't matter if it's not the biggest amount ever.
