Whether you have a significant other to celebrate Valentine's day with or not, nothing is as fun as spending a day celebrating with your best girlfriends! Here are some great tips on how to spend this Galentine's day:

1. Movie

Whether you go to the theater to see 50 Shades Darker or spend the night in watching Netflix with your girls, watching a movie with your best friends is always a great way to spend your day!

2. Cooking

Get together and cook a Valentine's themed dinner complete with a delicious chocolate dessert of course! Bonus points for punny dish names and cheesy music to accompany!

3. Dinner date

Get your friends together and dress up and treat each other to a fancy dinner to celebrate! Sometimes just dressing up and getting out of your room is a fun way to spend your evening.

4. Secret valentine gift exchange

Doing a "secret Santa" type gift exchange is always fun and you can mix it up with serious gifts and gag gifts for the whole group!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything.
