Last week, I had the most magical 21st birthday I could've imagined - in the place where memories are made and dreams come true. My family planned the most amazing trip for me - magical moments GALORE - and I truly felt like the happiest and luckiest girl in the world, especially on the big day! So, now that I'm home, I got to hear all about what went in to making the experience so wonderful. They had one simple trick - get the Cast Members involved!

Guest Relations

Guest Relations Cast Members are truly amazing. They have connections all over the parks, and are full of ideas. When it comes to magical moments, they've seen them ALL, so they can definitely inspire you, and connect you to the right people to make it happen.

Photo Pass

No matter the occasion, getting Photopass involved is the best way to save your magical moment for years to come. Have a CM meet you somewhere ahead of time, and go over the plan. People respect someone with a camera, so your guest of honor will do whatever he or she says. Secret surprise? Wedding proposal? These guys are PROS, and will do what they can to make the magic happen.

Sometimes, if one Photopass CM isn't too busy, he or she might treat your party to a mini-photo shoot. Just let them pose you, and get ready for your shot!

And always, ALWAYS ask about Magic Photos! They're in hidden photopass locations throughout all four parks.

Food and Beverage

Food & Bev Cast Members can make some AMAZING magical moments! It can be as simple as calling ahead, and leaving your birthday/anniversary person's name ahead of time. They'll get an adorable treat and (sometimes character autographs!) after the big meal, and memories that will last forever!

This is from The Wave, at Disney's Contemporary Resort:

Characters

There's no one at a Disney Park who will be more excited for you on your special day than the characters! They're loads of fun, and if you let them know of whatever special occasion that brings you into the park that day, they're sure to make your visit especially worth the while!

Also, if you tell Town Square Mickey that it's your birthday, he miiight make everyone in his dressing room sing happy birthday to you - it was so cute!

Also, the best part about all these tips is that they don't have to cost you any extra money - besides park admission of course! The Disney Cast wants you to have the best time possible during your visit, so buckle up, and get ready to have, or give someone a magical day! Trust me, these memories will be some of the best of your life.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
