Food is the epitome of everything, the very reason for everything’s existence from a small family of ants to a very large family of elephants. Elephants eat roots, grasses, fruits, and bark while ants eat anything from meat to fruit. Without this food both elephants and ants would not be able to exist. Humans, just like every other species, need food; however, our food is a bit more complicated, as we sculpt it with many different flavors and ingredients. One of the best forms of human food, butter toast, is a great item to learn how to be able to make.
When making butter toast the first thing you will need to do is obtain some bread to use. It is possible to use any type of bread you could think of to make amazing butter toast. Humans have been making bread for approximately 30,000 years. Along the way, many different types have been formed. For example, wholemeal bread, wheat bread, white bread, multigrain bread, flatbread, sourdough bread, rye bread, walnut bread, gluten-free bread, pumpernickel bread, and a myriad of other types. Once you have chosen one of these types of bread you are ready to take the next step.
Now that you have the bread, I hoped you picked a good one, because you are ready to select the butter. Be careful when you pick the butter, because it has to be the right type for you. Butter’s origins don’t go back as far as bread’s, however, it still goes back quite a way. The history of butter dates back to about 10,000 years ago, and again it has been crafted into many different forms. For example, salted butter, unsalted butter, organic butter, whipped butter, European-style butter, spreadable butter, and countless others. All of these would work with your piece of butter toast, you just have to choose one. Once you have chosen one, you are ready for the third step.
The third step is where it gets a little more complicated. It is sort of a combination of two steps. You have to grab a knife, which is not a particularly hard request to fulfill; however, it's possible to mess up. Pretty much any knife will work but I recommend a butter knife because it is perfect for what you are going to be doing with it. It even says butter in the name. For the second part of this step take all of your supplies over to the toaster. The toaster is the contraption that will toast your read to the level that you desire. There should be a setting on the toaster that you will be able to change based on how brown you want your toast. After the toast is in the toaster, you are ready for the final step.
Once the toast is toasted, all that's left to do is spread the butter. Take some of the butter on the knife and spread it across the warm and newly browned bread. Make sure to get the amount of butter just right, because too little or too much butter can be disastrous. Once the “just right” amount of butter is applied and you see a perfectly toasted, perfectly buttered brown piece of warm toast laying before you, you are ready to enjoy.
