Clean in an environmentally friendly way:
You do not need to use aggressive acidic cleaners or sprays to clean the grill. For this purpose, standard dishwashing detergents, soaps are also suitable, or try eco-friendly preparations. There are organic detergent sprays. Remember to always switch off the electric and gas grills and finally clean the grills.
Start cleaning:
Start the cleaning the gas grill by cleaning the grates. These turn into ashes that you can now easily clean. You can start cleaning the grateright away - turn off the gas and use a wire brush to remove dirt. If you don't have a wire brush, a ball made of aluminum foil will do as well. If you want a thorough cleaning, take out the grill and peel it with a sponge dipped in soapy water. Then clean the outside of the grill - this will again be safest with soapy water or a little detergent used in the dishwasher. Clean everything with a sponge and then wash the soapy water with a clean cloth. Then dry thoroughly. If you have a stainless steel grill, use a special cleaning agent for this purpose. If you have a porcelain gas grill, use a special cleaning agent for the porcelain.
How to clean the electric grill? Spatula and vinegar help:
useful not only for masonry work, but also in the kitchen. If you have an electric grill at home, the sponge is too short to remove food debris from the grill and inside the grill, so use the grill handle and blade. Do not press the spatula very hard to avoid scratching the surface; just simply scrub the grill gently and mechanically. Also clean the bottom bowl where grease drips when grilling. Do not scrub the glass surface of the grill with the rough part of the sponge to avoid scratches. This can affect the heat distribution as well as the appearance of the grill. Therefore, it is better to dampen a paper kitchen towel to remove small stains.
The grill's surface will be shiny if you add a little vinegar to the water, then dip the wipe in it and wipe the whole grill with it. Be sure to start cleaning the electric grill while it is still hot. If you let it cool too much, the food residue will harden on it and it will be much harder to clean later. Of course - first do not forget to unplug the grill!

Before doing so, however, remove all ashes and leftover food from the grate to make it burn out faster. It is important to clean the grillgrate thoroughly. A special brush is suitable for this. You can remove stuck food stains by dipping them in warm soapy water, and the last grease stains with a cleaning agent suitable for cleaning delicate surfaces and a sponge used for simple dishwashing. The surface of the grill does not need special care, you don't have to worry about waxing or painting, again the tried and tested soapy water is enough.
