How To Celebrate The New Semester

We know the spring semester has just begun, but it's never too early to put off studying! Of course, SGA encourages all students to focus on school, but we know that you have to have to blow off steam somehow. Because of this, we've put together a list of SGA services you can use to take a break from the first week of classes.

1. Find a DVD in the SGA Collection.

If the options on Netflix are a bit too limited, head to Ekstrom Library to browse through the SGA DVD Collection! There are hundreds of options and watching a movie with friends is a great way to spend some time after studying. There's even a list of titles for you to check out: http://bit.ly/1O2we4a

2. Apply to be January's Student of the Month.

Every month, SGA names a student of the month from a bunch of great candidates. The winner gets a free parking spot in the red lot behind the Red Barn, a certificate, and an article on the SGA website (the prize you really want). You must be a full time student who is not employed by SGA, and you just have to fill out a brief application and send in a resume. Here's the full link: http://bit.ly/1PEwLvJ

4. Watch the Cards play -- with free food.

The Cardinals face NC State on Thursday night, and SAB has teamed up with First Year Initiatives to host a game watch party in the Red Barn. Head over at 6:30 p.m. for pizza, wings, chili, sweets, and fun games with fellow Cards fans! Here's some more info: http://bit.ly/1JmyW80


4. Watch the latest CardCast.

This one is probably a long shot, but we've made six episodes of our CardCast video series over the past semester for you to watch!

There's a lot of cool info about the Sodexo food trucks, the new library renovations, student tickets, and more! If you aren't interested in any of that, fear not: there will be plenty more CardCast in 2016!
