With spring break just around the corner, you can expect that the gym will be a little more crowded than usual. Everyone is trying to get bikini ready and get a last minute six pack in preparation for the one week that college kids around the world wait for all year: Spring break. It's everything summer should be packed into one or two weeks, who wouldn't want to look their best? You don't want to be worrying about how your tummy looks, you want to be sipping a fruity beverage under a cabana feeling like a bronze goddess. But whether you've been spending hours at the gym or not, you are bikini ready. You might shake your head in disbelief as a list of things that could be skinnier or more toned fill your mind. But here's a piece of tough love: no one cares about your list of "imperfections" except you.
Nobody has the perfect body. Everyone has something they want to change about themselves. I'd love to be 5'8" with mile long legs and an olive skin tone. That sounds freaking awesome. But it's also awesome being the way I am because that's how I was made. Sure there are things I'd like to change, but I embrace the way I am (or at least try to) because perfection is not relatable (or possible). And I'll say it again, no one is looking at your imperfections as hard as you are. You care that you aren't 10 pounds lighter, but no one else even notices because they are too busy focusing on their insecurities. So get out there and wear that bikini, you beautiful sun goddess. Because all you need to have a bikini body, is a bikini and a body. You are fine as wine and I think you look amazing.
