Making plans for the future is somewhat easy. However, when it comes to accomplishing those goals, it can be hard or even seem impossible. To accomplish your dream, probably you have to go through many stages until you finally get to the finish line. But...what happens when something--along the way--goes WRONG? What are you supposed to do when you have failed at one of these stages?

Well, if this happens then it can be very discouraging and you might question or doubt yourself. You might even think that the best you can do is to stop trying or to give up. It is actually hard to recover from a failure, however, when you do you get to learn from it, you become stronger and find ways of not making the same error all over gain.

For all these reasons, I have decided to share this list in which I include the things I DO when I think I have permanently failed or ruined my life. It took me a while to fully understand the significance of failures. Nevertheless, now I see that failures do not define you, instead they are just building blocks that make you get one step closer to your goal.

1.Try to relax

It is not the end of the world. Everybody makes mistakes and has flaws. You are not alone.

2.Try to stop overthinking

It is just not healthy to keep thinking about the things you could have done differently to prevent this situation from happening. What is done is done. You cannot change it.

3.Try to forget about it

At least for a couple of hours, minutes, or even seconds. It will make a difference.

4. Do something that makes YOU happy

It is very helpful to just focus on something you really enjoy. It helps you forget--at least for a little bit--about the things that are bothering you.

5. Try not to blame

It is not your fault. Things happen and sometimes you cannot control them.

6. Go for a walk

Try to empty your mind. Get away from all those negative thoughts.

7. Find ways to become better

Now that you have made a mistake, do not just forget about it...learn from it and do it better.

8. Be positive

If you have failed one time...that does not mean you have failed at everything in your life. Focus on the good and positive thoughts.

9. Stop dwelling in the past

The MOST valuable thing I have learned is that instead of falling back you should fall forward. Do not give up on your first try. Take your time.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
