There are two people in the world: Those that read and those who don't. I am one of the people who reads- A lot. When I get a new book to read it makes me so happy. Seriously if anyone is stumped on what to get me for Christmas or my birthday just get me a new book. Trust me I will be happy for days! Good luck trying to get my attention when I am reading because I am totally lost in time- having become a character in somebody's story. Readers like me can totally relate others maybe not so much, but I hope you find this article entertaining anyways.
Here is How active readers really feel about books:
1. When you find the book your looking for
It is literally the greatest feeling in the world. Thank you God for Barns and Noble and Half Priced Books. My two favorite places in the whole world!
2. How it feels to deal with your non-reader friends
Come on Gaston! Maybe if you read some more you could have figured out how to treat Belle better.
3. When someone dares to interrupt you while reading
Please just let us read in peace. Then you won't have to deal with our craziness (that is totally valid).
4. How it feels when the author decides to kill your favorite Character
5. When your book has a unexpected ending
Just give us a few days to process this. We might suffer from: refusing to leave the couch, wandering around the house for days, contemplating the meaning of life, and not being able to talk about anything else except the book. This may last for two days or three weeks depending on how long the book was.
6. When you run out of reading material
7. But then you remember to go to the library
8. When you find other people who love to read
Now your not the only one who understands your love of reading. You have someone to share it with. Plus the inside jokes are endless!
9. And Finally...How you feel when you finish a great book!
