Let's start by answering the most asked question- " What is Lularoe?" To start, Lularoe is a women's and kids clothing line sold by consultants through the social media platform Facebook. Consultants buy inventory from Lularoe, which is then shipped to their homes and they proceed to sell said clothing. Styles range from tunics to dresses to the legendary leggings, and come in a variety of prints and patterns. Consultants hold pop up events, where customers can come to a "pop up" location, try the clothing on, and buy whatever they like.
The first time I discovered Lularoe was when I was invited to a Lularoe consultant's Facebook page. At first, I didn't know what to think. I skimmed the page and continued on with my life. But as the page was updated by the consultant, I became curious. Everyone on the page seemed to be losing it over these leggings, dubbed the "buttery leggings". And I just had to find out what all the commotion was about. I contacted my friend who added me to the group and the next thing I knew, I was in a consultants house trying on full outfits. Everything was extremely comfortable and about a week later, I bought my first pair of buttery soft leggings. The leggings come in all kinds of patterns and colors from sunglasses to dinosaurs to elephants. To see how I really liked them, I went with a pair of plain black leggings. and I fell in love.
They are the softest and most comfortable leggings I have ever worn. And so the craze began. I bought my second pair of leggings at a pop up shop in the King of Prussia Mall about a week after the first pair and am hoping to buy more this coming weekend. Since patterns are only made into a certain number of clothing styles and divided up between the thousands of consultants selling Lularoe, not every consultant has the same inventory. And once a pattern of Lularoe is sold out, you may never find that pattern again. This makes buying Lularoe even more fun. It's kind of the equivalent to a grown up scavenger hunt. I've spent hours adding myself to Lularoe Facebook pages and groups and combing those pages for a certain pattern of leggings or a certain color shirt. When I get bored, I look through Lularoe merchandise.
Aside from the leggings, I don't have any other Lularoe styles. yet. I have tried them on and they are all so comfortable. Even the dresses are comfortable and I hate dresses. I'm hoping to buy one of their Irma tunics next. If you haven't tried on any of Lularoe's styles, I highly recommend you do. The leggings are a perfect addition to any college student's " roll out of bed " wardrobe. You can look cute, be comfortable, and still get to class on time.
