How to Get a Guy in 10 Days

Maybe you’ve had enough of stalking your crush? Or maybe it’s time to get back into the game after breakup? Either way, getting a guy is definitely an undertaking. Here is a schedule that you can follow to get a guy in 10 days.*

Day 1: Spot your target.

If you’re not already friends with him, befriend him. If you are friends with him, skip to day 6.

NOTE: How to befriend your crush:

  1. BE CONFIDENT.
  2. Proceed to casually make eye contact with him a few times.
  3. Go in for the kill. I know this is the hardest part, but introduce yourself to him and ask him how he’s doing. Ask him about his interests, like music or sports. You can even compliment him! This could help to break the barrier between the friendzone and a budding relationship.
  4. Get his phone number. You need a way to talk to him again, right?

Day 2-5:

Take time to get to know him. This is important.

Day 6: DON’T BECOME A BRO!

Once you feel confident talking to him, become touchier. Hit his arm softly when he makes a joke, or inconspicuously touch his bicep when you guys are having a conversation.Try not to act stupid! Even though boys love a damsel in distress, they do not want an airhead. It’s not cute. It is imperative to make a lot of eye contact. Not in a creepy way, but enough for him to know that you are thinking about him.

Day 7: Ask him to hangout alone if he hasn’t already.

Look for clues. Is he giving you signals that he likes you back?

If he is more of the shy type, look to see if he is making more eye contact with you than normal. He might be only facing or talking to you when you guys are in a group setting. If he is more of an outgoing guy, he may become touchier and compliment you. He could even possibly straight up say that he likes you, too.

  • NOTE: If he asks to “Netflix and chill”, reconsider the potential relationship. He might just be looking for a hookup.

Day 8-9: Hangout with him and become more emotionally connected.

If you haven’t, start flirting hardcore. Let him know that you are interested.

Day 10: If no one has said anything about how they feel towards each other by now, here is the time.

He might be unobservant. In that case, just flat out tell him how you feel. If he doesn’t feel the same way, move on. It’s okay. You can always find someone better. Then the love cycle starts again.

P.S. I am not responsible if this doesn’t work.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
