I don't know Eric Church personally and probably not a lot of you know who he is. Well, let me tell you he is the most talented country singer I have ever heard. This semester has not been the best for me and every time I feel like I can't do it anymore, I always listen to his music to help me through my rough days. He is truly an inspiration to not only me, but others. I owe it to him to write a thank you and to tell the world how he has helped me get through one of the stressful times in my life.
Eric Church's songs are so relatable
He has such a cool and unique way of relating every song that he writes to everyone. When I'm feeling down, he has a song for that (Mixed Drinks About Feelings). When I am feeling super happy, he has a song for that (Drink in My Hand). When I am missing home, he has a song for that (Carolina) or (Give Me Back my Hometown). Literally, he Eric Church gets me so well and he has no idea who I am.
Listening to Eric Church makes me think of my boyfriend
My boyfriend was the person who introduced me to Eric Church and so now every time I hear his music, I automatically think back to that one time in the summer when he played me one of his songs. Hearing Eric Church, brings back all the memories of my boyfriend and I last summer and it just makes me so happy.
His voice is perfection
His voice has a sort of calm and soothing way about it, which helps me to calm down when I may be going through a stressful situation. I try to tune out everything that I am facing, put my earbuds in, and get lost into his music.
Eric Church's music gets me soooo excited for all the amazing memories to come
I think it's mostly because I heard him first in the summer time and it just reminds me of how much fun I had last summer. One of his songs (Springsteen), is the one that makes me super excited for the future and all the memories I am about to have.
He's an inspiration
You might think I am crazy for writing my article about a country artist, but let me just tell you... He deserves to be noticed and heard more. I don't think I can tell you how much he has had an inspiration on my life these past couple months. I go to his music to cope with whatever I am dealing with and the pain just seems to go away. His songs makes me laugh, cry, happy, sad, etc. It's just a whirlwind of emotions. I wish he knew how much his music has inspired me.. and I am sure there are so many others out there who feel the same way.
