Now that Halloween is over, it may feel like everything is moving too fast. Before we know it, it'll be Thanksgiving break and only a few weeks after that, the end of our first semester.
Whether this is your last year here or your first, it is time to appreciate what we have, before it all goes away.
Fall was always my favorite season growing up. But recently, it does not seem to hold any of the same magic it did as a kid.
But just because we no longer have our parents to plan excursions to the orchards or to bake pumpkin pie, doesn't mean that with a bit more effort on our part, Fall can't be the same beautiful adventure it used to be.
Here are some ways to make Fall feel a little bit more like Fall.
1. Go for a hike
Whether it’s up Valley Forge or around your backyard, get outside, breathe in that crisp air, and admire all the beautiful colors still dominating the trees.
2. Watch a spooky movie
From "Scream" to "Hocus Pocus," it is never too late to curl up with a bowl of popcorn and enjoy some thrills.
3. Go Apple Picking
You can even try one when they’re not looking.
4. Bake a Pumpkin Pie
Don’t have access to an oven? Eat some other types of Pumpkin treats. That familiar taste will still give you the same homey feeling.
5. Step on the crunchy leaves
Go on. You won’t regret it. Honestly, you probably won’t ever be able to stop.
6. Paint/Carve a Pumpkin
Halloween isn’t the only purpose for this activity. Pumpkins can make any place feel homier all season long.
