Horror With Mike: The Key Holders Of Memory
Movie Pilot / David Bronstein

This is first and foremost a trigger warning to those who scare easily or have negative paranormal experiences. These writings have the fullest intention to be terrifying -- read at your own risk.

Why is it we don’t remember our youngest years of life? Why don’t we remember our infancy? Why do some harsher memories suppress themselves in some, while they torture others repetitively?

Some people spend their days forever haunted by the past, while other’s can place it deeply within the confines of their mind. However, there are recounts of people who recover dark memories much further down the line. What exactly leads to this sudden recovery of a repressed memory?

Better yet, what could possibly have the capability to unlock suppressed memories? What could override the natural human defense mechanisms?

We are never left with the answer as to why we have recovered painful memories out of nowhere. Said memories seem to just simply release themselves from the deepest catacombs of the mind. These memories just slip, as some sort of malicious key holders disguise themselves deep within the mind. The lack of recollection of the memory leak is perhaps these key holders placing themselves right in the same security the memory slumbered within.

Key holders would therefore be weak, taking solace in the pain and suffering of humanity. The only purpose of these beings would simply be to seek safety through the collective human experience of pain. Perhaps they enter in our sleep, which is why some memory recollections occur in our own slumber.

Perhaps these are even greater than the ghosts that humanity has come to fear. Why fear a ghost, when they can’t physically harm us? The key holders of the deepest of memories create a pain far worse. These beings open wounds that have been sealed for ages, only to paint old blood on a fresh new canvas of scar tissue deep within the folds of our ever expanding minds.

We have no control of when these memories decide to unleash themselves. Thus, some other thing would have to control this phenomenon. Perhaps the scariest part of the matter, is that we would have no recorded documentation of such a being. There is no reference point as to how large, small, slender, or vicious these beings would be. All that is left for the imagination to manipulate and wrap around.

Without an image, there would be no defense. Without a defense, they could easily slip right in to the deepest confines of your mind. One thing is for absolutely certain though, these beings would be aware of your awareness to them.

With a new knowledge you may begin to act out of the character they have seen you represent for such a long time in your life. This could very easily offend or even deeply anger them. Perhaps your knowledge would lead them to even punish you. Perhaps it would have been in your best interest, to leave the unknown in its place. Or, it’s all sham and everything will be the same as it has always been in life. But as they say in life, you never really know how it’s going to unfold.

…. Good… Luck….

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

The Importance Of Being A Good Person

An open letter to the good-hearted people.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
