Homecoming: it's the craziest, busiest and best time of the year. Spending hours on hours at the house painting, pomping, building, eating, and dancing with your sisters. The late nights that turn into early mornings that are purely driven on the friendly competition keep you going... just maybe not going to class. There's a love/hate relationship with homecoming. When it's all over you experience something I like to call a homecoming hangover, and here are some of the signs you and your house maybe experiencing one.
1. You NEED sleep, and you will get it anywhere you can.

2. There's paint all over your clothes... and you weren't even painting, but it totally looks like you were just babysitting a five-year-old while finger painting.

3. Your hands are probably destroyed from cutting and overuse. Plus, you probably still have paint on them.

4. What's that in your jacket? Pomping paper? I wonder how that got in there? Probably cause you spent hours on the floor with it and those little things get everywhere!
5. You're probably behind in your classes. Even if you did go, you probably weren't awake enough to actually pay attention. Which leads to you studying at any point you can while still getting homecoming done.
6. Chances are, your parents have no clue what you've been up to because you haven't talked to them in who knows how long. Really, you were probably just painting, pomping, or building something.

7. The idea of spending another full night at the house brings tears to your eyes. It might be from the lack of sleep, or just the idea of staying there for ANOTHER night.

8. You hear a song that was in your Lip Sync, and you automatically start doing the steps no matter how much you try to stop.

9. Your room and the house look like a complete tornado went through it. There's no getting through either one without stepping on multiple things.

10. Your whole body is slowly coming off a caffeine and sugar high.

11. Seeing your sisters makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside, and you can't help but hug them because this week has made you realize how much you love each and everyone of them.
13. The days or week after Homecoming, when you're feeling down or bored, just remember what it was like to hold the trophy and the happiness will return.

Homecoming is truly one the best times. You get to hang out with sisters you're already close with while getting to know and getting closer to sisters you didn't know before. Every minute is a bonding experience, and the best moment is when it's all over. You can take a deep breath and see all your hard work. Win or lose, you know you had a little fun. But we all know you enjoy it just a little bit more when you win!
