Ever since "Parent Trap's" Nick Parker wandered into my life, some 13-years-ago via VHS, I have had what I would call a healthy fascination with the older man. There’s an inevitable charm to the salt and pepper, the wisdom, the voice weathered by time. One might say that it’s simply the allure of a worn-in life that’s so appealing to someone such as me; a college student, bouncing with ambition, yet constantly discouraged by life’s unanswered questions. Needless to say I’ve done a bit of digging into my, antique, taste in men, only to discover that I have curated quite a list of them. This my deviant friends, is the DILF list you’ve been waiting for.

1. Richard Gere

You've probably seen in him in: "Pretty Woman", "Primal Fear", "Hachi: A Dog's Tale", or "Days of Heaven".

We're loving: The squinty eyes, the 1000 watt smile and that soft-gruff binary he's got going.

2. Jude Law

You've probably seen him in: "Sherlock Holmes", "The Holiday", "Anna Karenina", "The Talented Mr. Ripley" or "Side Effects".

We're loving: The dewy tan, the pale blue eyes, the effortless sophistication, his every dashing facial expression.

3. Colin Firth

You've probably seen him in: "The King's Speech", "What a Girl Wants", "Love Actually", "Mama Mia" or "Bridget Jones Diary."

We're Loving: The befuddled speech, the serious, yet endearing demeanor, his private sense of self.

4. Rob Lowe

You've probably seen him in: "Parks and Recreation", "St. Elmo's Fire", "Wayne's World" or "The West Wing".

We're loving: The boyish-charm, the timeless good looks, the playful energy.

5. Patrick Wilson

You've probably seen him in: "The Conjuring", "Insidious", "Hard Candy" or "Watchmen."

We're loving: The humility, the edgy roles he takes, the disgustingly good genetics. Oh and the Tony-winning voice.

6. Hugh Grant

You've probably seen him in: "About a Boy", "Bridget Jones Diary", "Notting Hill", "Music and Lyrics" or "Four Weddings and a Funeral."

We're loving: The brusque humor, the tongue in cheek action, the lightheartedness, the crooked grin.

7. Pierce Brosnan

You've probably seen him in: The "James Bond" franchise, "Mama Mia" or "The Ghost Writer."

We're loving: The textbook smile, the velvety voice, the way he walks away from explosions.

8. Dennis Quaid

You've probably seen him in: "The Day After Tomorrow", "Vantage Point", "Parent Trap" or "Pandorum."

We're loving: the toothy grin, the wonderfully-gruff voice, the inordinately, large biceps.

9. Jeff Bridges

You've probably seen him in: "The Big Lebowski", "Iron Man", "True Grit" or "Crazy Heart."

We're loving: The grittiness, the glittery eyes, the staunchness.

10. Hugh Jackman

You've probably seen him in: "X-Men", "Les Miserables", "The Prestige" or "Prisoners"

We're loving: The delicious Aussie accent, the earnestness, the "altitude."

11. Patrick Dempsey

You've probably seen him in: "Grey's Anatomy", "Made of Honor", "Transformers" or "Enchanted."

We're loving: The scruff, the dimples, the tousled, thick locks.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
