With the surprise success of the Christmas-themed horror movie "Krampus," I scoured the Internet to find three not-as-successful holiday-themed horror movies.
Thankskilling:
Oh boy, you know we're off to a good start when the first movie I find is about a fowlmouthed (see what I did there?) turkey/vulture/muppet thing that kills college students on Thanksgiving. Well, at least it gets brownie points for being about Thanksgiving. Seriously, how many movies are actually based around that holiday, again?
Also, this movie series (yes, I said series) is the first I've seen to skip its own sequel. Thankskilling 3 makes a major tone shift though. It's about... uh... just see for yourself. If I simply told you, you probably wouldn't believe me.
Leprechaun:
OK, OK. I know that this isn't really about St. Patrick's Day, but it has a leprechaun in it, so it counts. Seriously though, how is a leprechaun supposed to be scary? Well, the filmmakers must have done something right, because the film apparently had enough demand for not one, not two, but six sequels! Granted, with titles such as "Leprechaun 4: In Space" and Leprechaun in the Hood," I think that Leprechaun has turned into more of a parody series instead of a serious horror title.

Yeah I know, I couldn't find a trailer for this one. But I assure you that it exists. Here is it's page on IMDb.
The story is apparently about a magician who becomes a human/bunny hybrid on Easter and kills people. There's not much more to say on this one I guess.
Well there you have it folks, these movies just go to show that scares (and camp) can be found at any time of the year.
