Sorry not sorry, but guys(and friends) are not worth holding yourself back for. They don't like a decision you made, drop them. They are holding you back from what you want to do with your life, drop them. Seriously, girls, we need to stop letting others dictate our lives! I am sick and tired of seeing girls crying over how their boyfriend, or friends, doesn't agree with them doing something. Get the heck over it and drop him. If they don't support you, they obviously aren't worth your time.

I'm about to pull something out of my mom's book, but it is so relevant! Guys will come and go. Friends will come and go. If you have an opportunity to better yourself, you might as well take that chance! Think five years in the future, would you be a better person because of it? Does it make you happy? If you weren't with that person or friend, would this even be a problem? If you think it would make you a better person, if you would be happy with your decision, and if this wouldn't even be a problem if you weren't with them, do it! Make yourself happy, girl! You cannot let others determine what you can or can't do.
You need to surround yourself with people who make you want to be a better person. You need to surround yourself with people who make you so happy. Do not, and I cannot stress this enough, let others determine your self-worth, your happiness, and your decisions. You have a brain and a heart that are perfectly fine at making decisions! Make yourself happy.
