Hilary Duff's New Album Is A Breath of Fresh Air

Same Hilary, Same Attitude.

We live in a life of nostalgia. This is why the new Hilary Duff album "Breathe In. Breathe Out." is perfect for your summer playlists. There are so many things we loved about Hilary’s old music and the way it made us feel; alive, young, adventurous, and maybe even sexy. It has been seven years since she has put out an album and some of the songs featured on "Breathe In. Breathe Out." are already more popular (according to Spotify) than her older hits like "Come Clean," "Wake Up," "With Love," and "Why Not." If you loved those hits, like I did and still do to this day, don’t worry because her new music still has the same feel to it.

If you're looking for a song to feel better about getting over someone that you cared about, the song "Breathe In. Breathe Out." just might be the song for you. This hit is hard not to bob your head to: "I made a top 10 list of all of the things I missed, your lying eyes and lips didn't make it."

"My Kind" is a feel-good song that encourages adventure (by encouraging adventure I mean not thinking clearly but having a good time for the night): "Let my walls come down tonight, won't let you waste my time, I don't care if it's all a lie, I'm with you for the night."

"Sparks" is one of the most popular songs on her newest album. This is a very provocative song, not so provocative you can't still hear all of the words on the radio, but it's very sexual: "When you're touching me baby I see sparks, you make my heart go 'whistle, whistle, whistle, whistle.'"

Not featured on the album but a new single from Duff in the last year, "Chasing the Sun" is about enjoying life and going chasing after what matters: "Love the life I live and I will live the life I love," this upbeat song can improve any road trip.

Another great song from Hilary in the last year is "All About You." This song is also great for road trips or just a small pick-me-up for your Monday mornings: "Because hey baby baby you got me so so good. Yeah! Hey baby baby I got it so bad. Think you're all about me? But I'm all about you, let me turn the lights down let me show you it's true."

The new Hilary Duff music is not only great for reminiscing on the past, but for living in the moment and having a good time.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
