Hilary released her first single in six years, and it didn't disappoint. "Chasing the Sun" is the perfect summer song with its catchy lyrics and fun beachy vibe.

Growing up, Lizzie McGuire was my ultimate idol. I worshipped her so much that I watched her TV series and the movie too many times to even count, as I am sure many of you have too. Once the show ended I was heartbroken because I didn't know what was next. I loved Hilary Duff and I didn't want my idol to leave the spotlight. Lucky for me and basically every young girl at the time, Hilary moved on to have a successful music and acting career after the death of Lizzie.

Hilary Duff's Most Wanted tour was my first concert, and from that day on, I have become a concert junkie. I will never forget the night that I found out I was actually going to see my favorite person live in concert. Seeing her perform in front of my very eyes was my dream come true, and luckily Hilary did not let me down.  Her albums "Metamorphosis" and "Hilary Duff" contain all the songs of my childhood. I would sing them day in and day out. Her lyrics spoke to me as a kid, and my love for her and her music continued to grow.

Eventually, Hilary took a break from music to focus on her family. During this break I had the incredible opportunity to actually meet her! When I saw her for the first time in person since I was 8, I couldn't believe it. She was one of the sweetest celebrities I have ever meet. We talked for about five to seven minutes (which was amazing since most celebrities only talk to you for one to two), and I got to tell her how much her music influenced me as a kid. I also told her I couldn't wait until she got back in the music game and with that she just smiled back. Little did I know at the time that I wouldn't have too long of a wait.

On July 29, 2014, my young teenage dream, along with many others, came true. Hilary Duff released her first single off her upcoming album. While "Chasing the Sun" is a different sound than what fans are used to, I think it couldn't be more perfect for her comeback and also for summer. "Chasing the Sun" has very catchy lyrics that will definitely get stuck in your head. Not only is the song great, but also the music video is even better. With over 10 million views already on YouTube, Hilary Duff shows fans that she has still got it. Looking as beautiful as ever, the singer reminds fans not only of her singing ability but of her acting talents too. The video takes place with Hilary working a boring office job during summer. Throughout her time at the office she daydreams of her being at the beach with her boyfriend. The video is super cute and very funny making it a perfect fit for the song. I am so beyond happy that Hilary is back, and I can't wait for what the rest of the album has in store!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
