Well, ladies and gentlemen, It's officially here: November 8, 2016. Voting Day. The day history will be made, no matter what the outcome may be tonight. We at Saint Mary's Odyssey put together a list of all of the thoughts we had prior to voting. Regardless of what you may be thinking about before voting, we highly encourage you all to get out there and vote today!

1. I'm actually going to hyperventilate.

I feel like the fate of the country's future is all in my hands, even though there are millions of other Americans voting too.

2. Is anyone else nervous about this?

The odds are so close and the outcomes that these candidates will bring to our country are so different. I just want whoever is elected to bring good to everyone in this country as a leader.

3. I still can't vote so, whatever.

When you can't vote because your 18th birthday is in two days, so missing the chance to vote by two days has you like...

4. The proposed amendment to the state constitution is saying what now?

I honestly don't even know what half of these words mean, so I think I'll just vote yes.

5. I'M SO CONFUSED.

What do I actually believe in? Which candidates actually care about the same things that I do? Who's going to win? What do I do?

6. Why isn't the candidate I actually wanted on the ballot?

Cue tears, but I'm still proud I'll be doing my civic duty by voting despite the fact that my favorite candidate isn't in the race anymore.

7. Who are all of these people who want to stay on the judicial court?

I just voted yes because I felt bad saying no to someone keeping their job, so basically I'm the reason why our founding fathers didn't want to give average people the right to vote in the first place. Sorry, guys.

8. I finally get to make a difference!

Rock that vote, girl.

9. I'm sending out an SOS for America.

But actually... How did we get to this point?

10. The news is scaring me.

I honestly don't even know what's real and what's fake anymore. Is this "House of Cards" or reality?

11. I'm just here for the free sticker.

You better believe I'll be wearing it all day.

12. Anyone else on board for Leslie Knope being president?

If only that was a realistic write-in option. Yes, Leslie, you would make it awesome. Lil Sebastian for VP.

13. I'm just going to eat my feelings.

No matter how this ends, I'm going to reward myself for making it through election season in one piece (barely)...with Taco Bell.

14. How is the loser going to react?

Let's be real, someone will be leaving the ring tomorrow night a little upset.

15. I probably should have researched my state senators and representatives...

So...what now...

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
