They say high school was the best four years of your life, and it was. They say it goes by in a blink of an eye, and it did. Whoever "they" is must know what they're talking about. I was blessed with the best high school group there ever could be. We literally did everything and still do everything together. Weather it was hanging out on the couch all day, lake house weekends, or late nights we did it all, and had the best times of our lives. Even with us all being in college, we still talk everyday and count down the days till we see each other next. I couldn't be more thankful to have each and every one of them in my life, and hope to have them in my life forever. I can't even explain the amount of ridiculous fun times we have had and keep continuing to make more memories together...here are some reasons why:
The infamous group chat
The group chats helps us communicate everyday weather its sending screenshots, mems, or roasting each other (and honestly those make my day). Every single day a good laugh comes out of those text messages cause someone always has something funny to say or something interesting that happened about their day.
They are there for you always
During the toughest or the most happiest days theres always a shoulder to lean on, and someone that you always can count on to be there for you.
The people to come back to
The best is coming home from college on break or for summer and getting to be with them everyday. Even though it should be a break from the craziness college brings you, it's not. But, I wouldn't have it any other way. Every night were together we have the time of our lives, and get to create even more memories and funny snapchat stories to look back on.
You can't wait to see them again soon
From counting down the days till winter break, summer, or weekend trips to colleges(EIU) it's the best knowing you'll see them again soon.
They don't judge you
No matter the amount of level of weirdness or amount of embarrassing moments we all rack up, theres no judging, definitely a few laughs though. (Even if you have one of your best friends faces tattooed on your butt,lol.)
Their family is your family
From laying on their couch and watching tv when they aren't home, to barging in each others homes to wake them up, to eating all their food in their pantry, no matter who's house, you always feel at home.
