With natural springs flowing straight from the ground and amazing views of the AuSable River, the Iargo Springs are something too spectacular to be hidden. Found in Oscoda Township, Michigan, I visited here for the first time in July this summer and I have since been longing to visit again. With fresh spring water flowing all around, it feels as though the Earth isn't doing as poorly as we thought. The views and natural beauty were too great not to capture. I wanted to document not only our trip to this extraordinary location but also the hidden beauty that lies at the end of seemingly endless boardwalks. I wanted to capture this location in a simple way and show my friends appreciating their surroundings. There are multiple spots to stop for a moment and sit to let the amazing sight before you sink in, and press into your memory forever. The overall stillness and subdued energy of Iargo Springs makes it worth the long drive. Locations like this will continue to inspire my work well into the future.
