6 Reasons I Am Pro-Life

Life is the right of every child, not a special privilege for the fortunate, the planned, & the perfect.

A fetus has a heartbeat at 3-4 weeks gestation. Abortion is legal up to 24-26 weeks gestation. At 15 weeks a fetus has all limbs, eyes, all of the reproductive system.

1. Abortion is murder.

When a pregnant woman is murdered, it is considered a double homicide.

Also, unborn babies are protected from murder and violence by the federal act 'Unborn Victims of Violence"

2. The 14th Amendment

The 14th amendment was designed to protect classes like the unborn. The criminalization of abortion accelerated in the 1860's and by the early 1900's it was considered a felony in all states.


3. Every child is a wanted child.

Just because you don't want to be a parent doesn't mean that someone else doesn't. You have other options than just abortion. All babies deserve the right to be born 2.6 million women are waiting to adopt a child, and with legal abortions that will limit the number of adoptable babies.

4. Complications

Abortions can seriously affect a woman's health, and cause a lot of emotional trauma.

5. Fetuses can feel pain.

At as early as 12 weeks, they are small fully formed humans, They have eyes, fingers, toes, a heart, and a nervous system, and they will withdraw from painful stimuli.

6. The right to life

Everyone has the right to live. What if the child you just aborted was going to find the cure to cancer, or become the next president. Your parents gave you life, why wouldn't you do the same for your child.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day.
