Hey You! I know where your heart is!
You love every furry friend that crosses your path, and you don't see a problem with it at all. When you have some of your worst days, your dogs are there for you to cheer you up, and you don't know what you did to deserve them. You'll probably shed a tear for a dog dying in a movie before you'll even bat an eye for the hero. You are completely thankful for always having a furry friend that won't bail on you for the bar or for the first chance at "chasing some tail."
Your friends may find your obsession a little strange, but you couldn't care less because dogs are the better substitute to human friends anyway. If you fall in love with any kind of dog that crosses your path, then that's ok! Your open heart to our four-legged friends will serve far better for you than anyone's fear will do.
Dogs of all breeds, shapes, and sizes will be there for you through thick and thin. They'll love you from the first moment you hold them until they're dying breath. Dogs, no matter they're age, will be here for you long after the girl of your dreams breaks your heart. The world may be a big place and the thought of being alone may be scary, but with a dog you'll never be lonely.
Dogs will never "accidentally" eat your food out of the fridge, drink any of your favorite sodas, tell your deepest secrets, judge you for how late you stay up at night or how early you got to bed, they'll never turn they're back on you when you need them the most, and they definitely won't break your heart. With your bro's it's easy to get upset over little things, but with dogs you take one look into their forever puppy eyes and it's hard to stay mad. Look at this picture for instance! (Yes..this is a personal plug of my own dog)
You may not realize it now, but your dog looks at you and thinks the entire world of you. To them, we're these big lovable creatures that live to be around 500 years old (in their time), and will do anything to protect them. So in return they dedicate their entire life to you. No matter how mad you get at them, they'll be coming right back up to you and want to show you affection.
So here's to you, Dude who's obsessed with dogs! Keep doing what you're doing because dogs are pretty amazing, and all your friends should start taking some notes!
