When the beginning of the school year started in August, I was already looking forward to summer. The last thing I wanted to be doing was spend nine-ish months studying for exams, doing homework, trying to find time to sleep, and waste money on books that I would never even open. The only thing I was excited about was being out of the dorms and in my own apartment.
Now, with finals week approaching I'm wishing it all would've slowed down. We constantly wish time away just to wish it all back when we realize how fast it's moving.
Since beginning college, I have been able to watch myself grow. It's only when you look at pictures with your friends do you realize how much changes in a year, and how much will continue to change over the years. I came into college thinking I'd get a degree in a specific major, and I ended up changing it to something totally different this year.
It's crazy to think that just two years ago I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life. I really didn't even know the difference between a major and a minor. Again, showing how much can change in a year.
As my sophomore year comes to an end, I look forward to all the upcoming adventures summer has in stores for me.
Two years down and only two more to go.
