Here's To All Girls Who Don't Feel Good Enough

This is a letter to a girl who tried. This is a letter to the girl who cares more about everyone else in her life rather than putting herself first. This is to the girl who will stay up all night tonight because she doesn't feel like she is ever or will ever be good enough. This is a letter to the girl who cries way more than she should because she remembers the ways he made her feel. This is to the girls who think that it's too hard for anyone to love them and having the thought of it all being your fault that you can't find someone who sees the effort you put in and doubles it because he loves you that much. This is for the girls who don't see that, no matter what the man she should be with should make her the happiest girl in the world, regardless of how "crazy" and "annoying" you are and how you always need a little reassurance because you're hearts been broken into tiny little pieces one too many times and you just need some love and a hug. Here's to the girl who feels like every time she gives love a chance it ends the same way and she doesn't feel like trying anymore. Here's to feeling empty, done and ready to give up completely because nothing you do is enough. Darling, you will find the right one someday but right now it's time to put yourself first. Make everything about you. Be selfish, something you don't know how to do but i promise it will bring great happiness. You will find yourself again and be even better than before. Now that you've felt the pain and seen what one person can do to you, you will be strong and be able to see the things you will look for in the man you will marry. Look for the guy that puts you first and wants nothing more than to see that beautiful smile, and your eyes light up when you find out good news about something you've been waiting to hear. Someone who will never let you "go to bed" feeling any sort of way other than true happiness (because let's be honest when we say were going to bed we really mean we just want you to say something sweet and we will stay up all night talking to you). We give our all and we deserve nothing less from those that are so lucky to be blessed by having us in their lives. So here's to you, you deserve the world and much more.

Summer isn't alway just fun in the sun.

Summer Slump

Summer is a time for fun in the sun, hanging out with friends, and living it up, but for some people, that's not the case. Summer is a nightmare for idle minds. Let me explain what I mean by that. For people with mental illness having the extra time to think and relax can be devastating for their mental health. Now, this isn't a problem for everyone but for some people who suffer from mental illness, this is a reality.

The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) reported that about 35.7% of 12th graders in the U.S. had used marijuana in the past year, and 11.8% reported daily use. As for coming to school under the influence, specific statistics can be hard to come by, but there is concern that the increasing social acceptance of marijuana may lead to higher rates of use among teenagers.
