With Thanksgiving right around the corner many are still preparing to throw down in the kitchen, but for those whom do not want to go through the hassle of cooking, many restaurants in Tallahassee will still be open. Many of the restaurants will be serving the traditional thanksgiving feast along with their usual menu. Menu’s ranging from turkey to lobster and steak will be served all through the holiday break including Thanksgiving day. Restaurants like Applebee's, Village Inn, TGI Fridays, Starbucks, and New Times country Buffet.
These are just a few of dining the spots that will be open during the thanksgiving holiday.
To all of the college students whom do not plan on going home for the holidays this should be a blessing. Many cannot afford to travel home or prepare meals for themselves so this is a small token to those whom have no home to go back to or cannot afford to travel back to their hometown.
This would be a good time to round up all of your friends and make it a date.
When you arrive, try the traditional turkey at Cracker Barrel or Old Time Buffet or go out on a lim and try the sage dressing, fresh broccoli Parmesan and homemade cranberry sauce at Black Angus Steak House. You can also try the classic tomato bruschetta and artichoke and roasted pepper bruschetta for starters at Maggiano's Little Italy.
They all sound delicious and even better the rest of the menu for the restaurants will still be available so if you choose not to partake in stuffing your face with stuffing you can still enjoy and fill up.
Happy Thanksgiving!
