I make care packages for the homeless. What's in them, you might ask? Well, I put a water bottle, some goldfish, and a protein bar or trouble. I put all of that in a bigger baggie and I hand them out when I'm in Chicago. When I'm not in Chicago, I would put them in my car so anytime I saw a homeless person I could just give them one. The reason I've done care packages rather than money, is because if I gave every homeless person money, not all of them would use it correctly. I've given some of them care packages and they've rejected it, I offered to buy them a meal and sometimes they take it, other times they don't, even though they are holding a sign that says "hungry need money for food". This is the reason I give them food, because the ones who don't accept are the ones in it simply for the money. Personally, I think we should all pitch in to try to feed the homeless and that's what this article is about. I am encouraging you to go out there with care packages and give them to the homeless rather than giving money.
