Let's Help Downsize Global Poverty

Everyone live in the U.S. has 3 Congress leaders represent you. By telling your Congress leaders you care about the people living in extreme poverty can actually make a difference! Check out the following reach out methods and be a voice to the voiceless!

(1) Call your Congress leaders.

A 30 seconds phone call in support of poverty reducing legislation can convey your thoughts to your Congress leaders.

(2)Email your Congress leaders.

Go to borgenproject.org/action-center/ and click on the legislation you would like to support. Send the pre-made email.

(3)Lobby Congress

Go to your Senator's or Representative's website and fill out a request for meeting. Show up for the meeting and discuss with your leaders the issues surrounding global poverty that matter to you.

(4)Bird Dog

Find town hall meeting or bird dogging events at townhallproject.com. Then ask a question and convey your support for the U.S. addressing global poverty.

(5)YouTube Congress

Make a creative YouTube Video and ask your leaders to cosponsor a specific bill!
