He Reminds Me Of The Color Yellow

My boyfriend and I have almost been dating for about four years. I find that he reminds me of a lot of things. But, mostly he reminds me of the color yellow. To many people, yellow reminds them of mustard or bananas. I personally associate the color yellow with happiness and optimism.

He reminds me of the color yellow because once he walks into the room, he brightens it up. He can get anyone to laugh at his lame jokes. On every occasion there is a card for, he gets me one ALWAYS with some kind of pun. The latest one had two drawings of a shellfish on it and inside the card, it said "Sorry I am shellfish, "'l'll always love you."

He is the nicest person you will ever meet. He puts others before him and wants to help everyone as much as he can. Often times when we are both working he stays later just so he can help everyone else finish so they can all go home at a decent time.

He has days where his judgment is clouded, but once the clouds move on he starts helping me push through my struggles. When I am feeling down he always there to encourage me and helps me to do better. Although, he may see himself as a pessimist. He is definitely an optimistic person in my book. He looks for the good in things people do. He hardly ever sees the bad unless a person points it out to him.

He reminds me of the color yellow. He shines so bright on everyone who talks to him. His hugs are tight and they make me feel warm. He is full of laughter and funny stories. He has the funniest reactions to certain things that just makes you want to laugh forever.

There once was a time I had to do a video on youtube for one of my classes and every time we would start to film he would laugh. Then I would laugh because he was laughing because he is the type of person that you can not help but laugh once they start to. So a video that should have only taken an hour to film took two hours because we could not stop laughing.

He reminds me of the color yellow because he is bright. He is one of the smartest people I know and he is always eager to learn about new things. He understands the complicated things and if I do not understand it he explains it to me in a way that I can.

His hugs feel like home, he makes me feel so safe and at peace. He is my euphoria.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
