10 Reasons Why Having A 'Swolemate' Is Better Than A Soulmate

Getting a good workout in isn't always easy, but you're guaranteed to meet the best kinds of people at the gym. After sweating with many different faces, the lucky ones fund their "swolemate" aka workout buddy for life. For many reasons, they become the people you love and hate the most.

1. They always know all your weaknesses.

It’s hard to hide your left side can’t lift as much as your right when they’re the ones handing you your free weights.

2. They tell it like it is, even when they know it will make you tick.

They'll say whatever it is they need to in order to make you mad enough to kick it into gear and sweat like nobody else in the gym.

3. They push you to do better than your best, both in and out of the gym.

No slacking when they're around!

4. They make you so tired you have to crawl out, and so sore you have to roll in tomorrow.

5. They introduced you to the enemy aka foam roller, and make you use it all the time.

6. You can afford new Lulu Lemon workout gear because what's better than having a free personal trainer?

7. No better people to indulge on your cheat day with because they’ll make sure you make up for it later.

8. You don't have to buy them anniversary presents.

The relationship more like, "OMG it's our 100th workout together! Give me 100 burpees!"

9. They never let you skip a workout.

OK maybe not "never," but like, almost never. You better have a good excuse or you'll pay for not showing up tomorrow.

10. They make you never want to skip a workout.

Working out with your one and only swolemate is tiring, but you know you look forward to seeing them each time you get together to kick some butt.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
