It is undeniable that there is no bond quite like the bond between sisters. Being an older sister, I have experienced both the ups and down through any given situation. Although having a sister is incredible, here are 20 reasons why having a younger sibling is the greatest blessing:
1. She shaped you to be responsible and motherly.
2. You’re never bored when she’s around she is always down to do something even if it’s just watching old Disney movies.
3. She knows exactly when you’re lying, so you have no choice but to tell her the truth.
4. She may not always have the answer to your problems, but that doesn’t mean she won’t do her best to help you solve them.
5. She was there for every awkward stage in your life growing up… and she still loves you. (Doesn’t mean she won’t still make fun of you though)
6. No like, she was literally there right next to you through every terrible matching outfit your mom put you through.
7. You have double the clothes because there is no such thing as clothes that are “off limits.”
8. You always have someone to laugh with. You know that joke that you think is hilarious and no one really gets it or thinks it’s funny? She’ll crack up every single time.
9.You won’t ever be put in that awkward situation where you have to choose a best friend to be your maid of honor because you have her.
10. And every notable memory you guys make she says, “This is so going in the speech I’m making at your wedding.”
11. You already know she’s going to be that cool aunt that your kids are always going to want to hang out with.
12. She will always tell you the truth, even when you don’t want to hear it.
13. She’s the only person that you can go from having a full-fledged screaming argument with to laughing about it the next minute.
14. She’s also the only person that you don’t get mad at for mooching rides, and money off of you.
15. You always have someone to do stupid things with no matter what age you two are.
16. She keeps you young, because you’re the oldest your natural instinct is to be protective and always do the right thing. She taught you it’s okay to let loose (sometimes).
17. She’s always around, so all of your friends love her just as much.
18. She’s the first person you call when something crazy happens.
19. You have a best friend that lives with you, I mean I really can’t think of something more amazing than that.
20. You would do anything in the world for her, and you know she would do the same.
Thank you for being my little sister by chance, but my best friend by choice. I love you.
