In the best movies or works of literature, nothing is more triumphant or beautiful than when the main character overcomes devastation. The most beautiful parts of our lives begin at the end of tragedy. No one decides to change his or her life because everything is going right. People change when something alludes them to do so.
The tragedies and hardships of our lives bring out the best aspects of our selves. In a way, it separates the strong parts of ourselves from the weak. It proves how strong of thinkers we can become when faced with the most difficult questions, it proves our will to hold onto something so gravely that we could so easily let go of, and it proves how beautifully humanity can bond together when devastation strikes.
Tragedy brings out our independence. It shows how one individual can stand alone for the greater good and form an army. Our form of independence draws amazing people into our life people that we may have never gotten the privileged to meet without the willpower we have to push our self through difficult situations.
But most importantly the hardest parts of our lives make us change. They make us wake up in the morning and want to prove something to ourselves and everyone else. They allow us to come at peace with our past selves and determine us to focus on our future selves to work towards a better tomorrow. It makes us stand for what we believe in no matter what the majority says is true.
Because of this form of independence, we get beautiful movements that move the world and influence nations. We are the foundation for the youth and need to take the curve balls life throws at us in stride and prove change isn't always a bad thing.
Sometimes you can't just roll with the punches these hard parts of life prove this to us because to see change, we have learned to take it into our own hands, and that is truly the most beautiful thing.
