Happy New Year!!

A lot has changed in 2016. I went back to school, strengthened my relationship with my boyfriend, and made a lot of memories with a lot of people. The year had lots of ups and downs with it and not everyone can understand what may have been going on with me or maybe I didn't understand them. New years is all about understanding the past so the future can be bright. What we wake up to is a new future that can be very bright.

So to start off with, this is a new me. One that discovered that I can do anything I want to, just by getting my life together for a second. I started back to college January 2016 and it was one of the scariest experiences of my life. I didn't know what was going to happen and the fact that I had been out of school for a year didn't make the transition any easier. You would think after a year, it wouldn't be very hard to go back, but it really was. College is a lot different than high school. Things were definitely a lot easier and given the amount of determination it took to go back, I could tell I was on the right track.

I also have had some awesome trips with my boyfriend this year. We went to Charleston, SC and had an amazing first experience there. This was the first year we went on a vacation alone and I must say that it was something I won't forget. It is really nice when your other half can easily be one of the most important people in your life. My man really knows how to treat me right. I hope the same for all of yours too.

I made some amazing memories with my friends too. I love being able to go see my friends, but it definitely sucks not being able to be close in range to a lot of them anymore. Everyone is doing something different with their lives and moving all over the place and I am still in the same place I grew up. I don't think that's a bad thing, but as I have probably stated before, my love of travel is the thing that will keep me going in the long run. This past year, I made sure to make plans with everyone and to keep in touch, as that is very important.

This year I can say that I did a lot and condensing it would take too long. I had one amazing year and I hope for 2017 that it will be even more amazing.\
