What is love?

I know that love is different to everyone yet universal all at once. But there seems to be certain aspects of it that we all know of. The sacrifice, the willingness to go through some pain in order to reach happiness.

I'll let you know what love is to me.

Love to me is going above and beyond to make sure that you are happy. Love is staying up to make sure that you got home okay. It's being okay with just sitting with someone, not even talking, and feeling completely comfortable. Love is me trying new things and exiting my comfort zone because you like those things. Love is willing to fight for what you believe in. It's why I see my pets as family, not property. Love is playing hockey even though the motion of skating is the only thing that hurts my knees and makes it feel like my kneecaps are going to fall off, but still playing.

I am someone who has a lot of love for a lot of things, with love to spare. I love my friends, I love my family, I love my sport. And I am willing to make the biggest sacrifices for these things that I love, and I do it happily.
