1) It has great music.
Lin-Manuel Miranda, the creator of "Hamilton," added a modern hip-hop style of music to Broadway. Each actor and actress brings a new and diverse sound to each piece of music. Whether it is speed rapping, beat boxing, or slow harmonizing, everyone who is a part of the show can do it.
2) You see the real story.

It's not exactly how you read it in your textbooks. It's a story full of war, jealousy, celebration, death, and backstabbing. Building a nation isn't easy. Lin-Manuel captured each story throughout the show (except Peggy's). Listening to just the music, you can hear the emotion everyone puts into the songs to make the listeners feel a connection.
3) You get emotional.
The more you listen to the cast recording, the more attached you become. Betrayal from even the main characters is evident. You feel the love characters have for each other, the hatred, and the jealousy. When a character dies, you may cry.
4) Tickets
Tickets are running into the $1000s for one seat for this hit Broadway show. Don’t have enough money for it? Just listen to the cast recording. It will make you feel like you are sitting front row at Richard Rodgers Theater.
5) The history
You learn how the real story might have gone. While learning about the American revolution, you learned about the war, the famous people, and the constitution. No one really knows what happened behind closed doors. The drama isn't written down in your US History book.
"Hamilton" is one of Broadway's top-selling musicals. It adds modern music into 17th and 18th century history. It is phenomenal, but if you don't believe me ask, the thousands of people across the country who loved it.
