The Definitive Ranking Of The 13 Best Halloween Candies

Halloween is approaching! Though finding the right costume and decorations is stressful, just remember there is always sugar and delicious treats in sight!

13. Caramel Apples

Caramel Apples are a great and filling treat that will give you the full taste of Halloween and fall through the sweet flavor of the caramel, and since it's technically a fruit, you can feel healthy as you are having one of your recommended servings for the day!

12. Candy Corn

Even though Candy Corn is essentially a piece of sugar dyed three different colors with food coloring, but it isn't Halloween without them.

11. Jolly Rancher

A dentists absolute worst nightmare, Jolly Ranchers, are addicting as you constantly play with them in your mouth awaiting that sudden burst of flavor. Be really be careful with these deceptively small and safe candies, they are known to cause cavities and serve as a choking hazard.

10. Sour Patch

The only sour candy I have included on here, as they're fun to pull and play around with while you absorb the sugar coat and sour flavor.

9. Fun Dip

Don't pretend that you didn't eat these bags of sugar by the pound when you were younger and then stick your tongue out at the mirror to view its changing color from the candy. Fun Dip is a childhood classic that is sure to provide with you a strong sense of nostalgia along with a severe sugar headache.

8. Twix

Though likely to get stuck in your teeth, Twix bars are incredible on Halloween as they give you that much-desired sugar rush along with an unbeatable caramel and chocolate taste.

7. M&Ms

May be considered an unoriginal choice but how can you not grab those mini bags of M&M's especially since there are so many different flavor options like peanut, milk chocolate, dark chocolate, crunchy and now even birthday cake(?)

6. Kit Kat

But seriously, give me a break with a Kit Kat Bar. This candy is similar to Krackel Bars in that the crunchiness of the cookie wafer combined with the milk chocolate coating makes this candy completely irresistible.

5. Hershey Kisses

An American Classic, there's no denying that Hersey Kisses are almost impossible to resist. In addition to being a great Halloween Candy, Hershey Kisses can also be a sweet treat for a close friend or a loved one.

4. Starburst

Starburst are also candies that are easy to transport. However, the color Starburst you get seriously, really does matter. Don't pretend you've never been disappointed to find a majority of orange Starburst in the pack you had just bought. (We all secretly know that pink is the best flavor)

3. Smarties

These colorful mini candies have not only been around forever but like Starbursts they're also fun and easy to transport! Additionally, smarties are sometimes better than chocolate candies as they can last for several days after Halloween without carrying the risk of melting or being crushed in your backpack so easily.

2. Reese's Peanut Butter Cups

Chocolate + Peanut Butter, enough said.

1. Krackel Bars

I may be biased here as a true chocolate-lover, but Krackel Bars are by far the best Halloween Candy. How can you resist the perfect combination of both crunch and chocolate?! These little candies with the red wrapper are sure to leave any trick-or-treater satisfied.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
