As new tracks are dropping left and right, it seems as if everybody is making a comeback in the music industry and it’s much needed. Here are a few songs you need to add to your music library and a few hairstyles you can take from each concept!

1. Chun-Li by Nicki Minaj - Chun Li Buns

With two new digital releases, it’s been a long time coming for Nicki fans. Chun-Li being one of the two releases is street fighter inspired by none other than the character who inspired the title of the song. The buns have been a staple of the character for years and should definitely be a hairdo you try out asap. All you need are two buns a badass charisma like Nicki and Chun-Li and you’re set (by the way don't use this as an opportunity to stereotype i.e. leave the chopsticks as "hair accessories" at home and go for the actual buns).

2. No Tears Left To Cry by Ariana Grande - Low Sleek Ponytail

Ari fans can finally feel at ease with new music from the mini, but mighty Ms. Grande. No Tears Left To Cry marks a new era of her musical journey as well as her ponytail journey! Yes, you read that right she lowered the high pony to a sleeked back low ponytail with flawless bangs. Ariana’s elegance shows throughout the video for ’No Tears Left To Cry’ and her new platinum blonde pops just like the beat of the song.

3. Sober by Hyo (Hyoyeon) - Crimped Loose Waves

All of my Soshi fans unite! Sones have been waiting for Hyoyeon to shine even more in her solo endeavors as she packs a punch with her impressive dance skills and vocals. In this DJ Hyo era, she sports crimped long grayish blonde hair. It’s enough to make you want to pull out your old hair crimper from back in the day.

4. Healthy by Prettymuch - Bleach Blonde Hair

This song is one of the singles off of Prettymuch’s first EP “Prettymuch an EP” and it’s so good that it made it into my top 25 most played songs within a week. Each boy in Prettymuch sports a different do, but three out of the five do the bleach blonde justice. From Zion's blonde tip dreads to Edwin’s blonde buzzcut, to Austin’s complete bed head blonde locks, it’s a look! They're giving those ice tipped nineties boy band members a run for their money.

5. Blooming Day by EXO CBX - Auburn and Platinum Blonde Hair

Blooming Days as a whole album is absolute gold. From ‘Lazy’ to ‘Sweet Dreams!’ CBX’s concept is fresh and aesthetically pleasing and their hairstyles match just that as well. Chen’s burnt auburn hair color is to dye for (ba dum tss)! Baekhyun and Xiumin on the other hand graciously sport blonde and platinum blonde colors against their sleek haircuts.

6. Nice For What by Drake - High Beach Wave Ponytail

The music video for Drake’s new hit “Nice For What” is just as good as the song itself as it features a powerhouse of strong versatile women. Even though they're a bunch of beautiful ladies and hairstyles I can highlight, all eyes are Ms. Issa Rae. Her high beach waved ponytail will give any look a run for its money.

Summer: a time (usually) free from school work and a time to relax with your friends and family. Maybe you go on a vacation or maybe you work all summer, but the time off really does help. When you're in college you become super close with so many people it's hard to think that you won't see many of them for three months. But, then you get that text saying, "Hey, clear your schedule next weekend, I'm coming up" and you begin to flip out. Here are the emotions you go through as your best friend makes her trip to your house.

Winter break is over, we're all back at our respective colleges, and the first week of classes is underway. This is a little bit how that week tends to go.

The professor starts to go over something more than the syllabus

You get homework assigned on the first day of class

There are multiple group projects on the syllabus

You learn attendance is mandatory and will be taken every class

Professor starts chatting about their personal life and what inspired them to teach this class

Participation is mandatory and you have to play "icebreaker games"

Everybody is going out because its 'syllabus week' but you're laying in bed watching Grey's Anatomy

Looking outside anytime past 8 PM every night of this week

Nobody actually has any idea what's happening this entire week

Syllabus week is over and you realize you actually have to try now...or not

Now it's time to get back into the REAL swing of things. Second semester is really here and we all have to deal with it.

panera bread

Whether you specialized in ringing people up or preparing the food, if you worked at Panera Bread it holds a special place in your heart. Here are some signs that you worked at Panera in high school.

1. You own so many pairs of khaki pants you don’t even know what to do with them

Definitely the worst part about working at Panera was the uniform and having someone cute come in. Please don’t look at me in my hat.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.
