Gymboree is a children's clothing store that has been around for years. I know for a fact I was wearing Gymboree when I was little and a lot of grandma's who come in always say how their children were in it and now the grandchild is wearing it.

To start off before we really get into it, I may be a little biased as I work for Gymboree but I am not trying to change opinions simply trying to give a new viewpoint.

The company recently rebranded it's clothing in Gymboree this means less clutter on the floor, a more modern look, and a slogan to go along with it. Since it's rebranding there are so many negative articles out there about how parents hate the new Gymboree. Such as The Wall Street Journal or on LinkedIn, where all articles focus on how parents aren't happy with the new look.

Now granted the clothing did change but it's also because before the big girl sizes (5-12 years-old) matched the baby girl look. Well, a lot of the older kids don't want to match their baby sister or brother. Personally, I love all the new styles that they've brought in to keep up with the times.

Many might also be mad because the prices seem to have gone up. This is not exactly the case... you see most of the prices are similar if not the same as the old clothing's regular prices. The only difference that is occurring is that the sales are not what they were. Many are upset by this but it might be partially because of when the new clothing came in, the old clothing had to go. This meant all the old clothing marked down significantly cheaper in order for it to sell faster.

The other thing to keep in mind is that the company did declare bankruptcy a year ago. Obviously, something had changed and many of those changes occurred already.

I also want everyone to keep in mind that the people who go online are normally only the ones who have something negative to say, it's important for you to come in and see the outcome yourself. Don't just take what the internet is saying for fact. It costs nothing to stop in the store and check out the new clothing style. You might find you love it.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
