I Asked 10 Guys Which Women's Fashion Trend They Like The Most, And Thankfully They Don't Get To Decide

As a woman in college, it can be really hard to keep up with the fashion trends that so rapidly come and go. Two years ago choker necklaces were the biggest thing in college fashion, now most of us would not be caught dead wearing one.

That is only one example of how fashion for college women can be extremely hard to keep up with.

There are also some trends that come around that some girls love, and other girls simply cannot get behind.

One personal example for me is bell-bottom jeans. I do not have the body type for those types of pants, so I never got behind the trend that has become HUGE for game days and nights out.

While female fashion is fun to talk about with your girlfriends, it is extremely interesting when you ask your guy friends what they think about all of the different outfits girls are stepping out in.

I decided to ask 10 of my closest guy friends what they think about fashion trends that are super "in" right now for college girls, and I learned some very interesting things...Here are some of their most *stellar* opinions.

"Sundresses and cowboy boots on Game Days will always be super cute to me."

"Jean jackets should never go away."

"I like the black jean look better than the regular denim."

"A nice romper looks really good on a girl."

"The handmade (DIY) crop tops girls have been making lately look pretty nice."

"Oversized jerseys on Game Days!!!"

"Flare yoga pants are the move."

"I love that girls brought back wearing hoops. Super attractive."

"I'm all about the natural look, no bra, free the nipple!!"

"Girls should NEVER wear Air Force 1 shoes."

"Some girls who wear their hair in a high ponytail or messy bun look really attractive."

"Crop tops and a nice pair of grey sweatpants. I love that."

"I'm a big fan of the high-waisted bikinis. And regular bikinis. All bikinis are good, really."

"Jumpsuits are alright."

"Some girls can really pull off the leather jacket look."

"One piece swimsuits... yes."

As you can see, these answers are kind of all over the place. After asking all of my guy friends about fashion trends of females in college, the main thing I learned is that they really do not know anything about it.

They have their preferences for what girls wear, but they said it is never the end all be all for them when it comes to approaching a girl.

At the end of the day, it's fun to get a guy's perspective on the trends in college fashion today, but it should absolutely NOT determine what us girls actually wear.

As a female, I appreciate their feedback, but I am still going to wear whatever I want and whatever I feel the most confident in, as all girls should.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.
