Watching reality TV is definitely a guilty pleasure for many. It is nice to be able to watch someone else's life and not worry about the stresses of your own for an episode a week. Here are some of my favorite reality TV shows to watch, maybe you might give them a try!

1. 'The Bachelor.'

'The Bachelor' gives us a look into an unconventional way of falling in love. While it is a beautiful thing to watch before our eyes, the show also highlights what gets the most attention: the drama. The drama takes over the show every season, which only hypes up the fans. Social media is on fire following every single episode and keeps the fans watching. But in the end, it is amazing to see two people (our twenty fine) exploring love.

2. 'Big Brother.'

If you have never seen 'Big Brother,' you are in for a real treat. This show is comprised of so many different challenges. There are physical, mental, and even emotional challenges that sixteen individuals go through while they are stuck in a house with complete strangers. The goal is simple: to stay in the house. It is so interesting to watch the different strategies game players go in with and to see who comes out on top.

3. 'Below Deck.'

'Below Deck' gives a different spin to typical reality TV shows. They dive into the lives of private charter employees. We get to see the ins and outs of private charters, especially the drama on the ship. You have drama between those working on the ship as well as mishaps that happen with the charter guests. I love getting to see the beautiful places they travel to and getting updates on who is mad at who and who ignored the guest's preference sheet!

4. 'Ex on the Beach.'

This show I would say is a combination of all reality shows. A group of social media or TV stars are living at a beach house together and expect to be simply finding love. However, they get shocked to find out that every week, some of them will have exes coming into the house. TALK ABOUT AWKWARD! Seeing the exes and waves caused every week keeps you on the edge of your seat.

5. 'Jersey Shore.'

This is quite the throwback but this is a classic. I would say 'Jersey Shore' is the first reality show I ever watched. It will always be my go-to on Hulu to watch if I ever need a laugh. The bond these roommates have formed kept me watching but the moments they shared with the public are what kept it interesting. These roommates are the definition of dysfunction and it got better and better with every season.

Taylor Swift in orange dress playing a moss-covered piano on stage with bright lights.

A three-and-a-half-hour runtime. Nine Eras. Eleven outfit changes. Three surprise songs. Zero breaks. One unforgettable evening. In the past century, no other performer has put on an electric performance quite like Taylor Swift, surpassing her fans ‘wildest dreams’. It is the reason supporters keep coming back to her shows each year. Days later, I’m still in awe of the spectacle ‘Miss Americana’ puts on every few days in a new city. And, like one of Taylor’s exes, has me smiling as I reminisce about the memories of the night we spent together.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

Sister | Brother Style - Word Press

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?
