It’s almost that time of year again! The stores are covered in pink and red, and a girl’s favorite holiday is almost here. That’s great and all, but what about the guys? They’re entitled to a great Valentine’s day, too! While dinner, roses, and chocolate are lovely, your man will probably love some of these fun February experiences.
1. A Golf Date
Golf can be fun for both him and you! A day at the golf course will allow you to enjoy more than a quick dinner date and spend some quality time together. Some golf clubs require you to dress up, which can be fun too! Having a quick lunch afterwards at the club or a nearby restaurant seals the deal. Plus, who doesn’t love driving golf carts? If you live somewhere with snow, consider swapping golf out for skiing or snowboarding!
2. Making His Favorite Meal
Whether he’s a breakfast guy or the perfect dinner date, no guy will turn down quality homemade food. Ask him what his perfect breakfast, lunch, or dinner looks like, and find an easy online recipe. I like to use allrecipes.com to find all of my recipes!
3. An Evening At The Beach
Guys love when they can have a nice date with their significant other and it’s inexpensive. Consider packing a picnic and heading over to the beach (or a lake if you don’t have beaches near you) and relaxing by the water in the early evening. Who knows, maybe swimming is on the agenda too? You decide!
4. A Dinner Date On A Boat
This is a great idea if you live somewhere warm! These are some of the most romantic things ever. If you live by a lake, inlet, or beach, chances are there’s a place that offers sunset dinner cruises. You’ll typically get hors d’oeuvres, dinner, and maybe a dessert, all while drifting off into the water.
5. A Casual Night In
This is the perfect idea if you live somewhere that has intense cold weather! For some guys, their idea of a perfect night is staying in, snuggling, watching an action movie, and ordering take-out. Maybe there’s movie he’s been dying to get you to watch, or a TV show that you both want to catch up on. Never underestimate a cozy night in. Grab the blankets, pop some popcorn, and have a relaxing night to yourselves!
