A Guide To The Best Attractions At Walt Disney World
Disney Tourist Blog

Growing up there’s one place that we all wanted to go to. And if you’re anything like me you still always want to go. This magical, life-changing place is the one, the only … Walt Disney World. Now this park is filled with the characters and stories we all know and love, but it can be a bit overwhelming. So I have compiled a list of the best attractions that are a must if you’re able to visit the happiest place on earth.

Big Thunder Mountain

The wildest ride in the wilderness is a must if your are in Magic Kingdom. This roller coaster staple in Frontierland is the perfect ride for the whole family!

Mickey’s PhilharMagic

This magical 3D show takes guests as they accompany Donald through all of your favorite Disney movies. This show also serves as a perfect way to cool off during the hot summer months.

Tower of Terror

This thrilling drop tower is one of the best ride. The detail is unlike any other. To make this ride even more unique it is different every time you ride. Make sure to hold on because you’re gonna need to.

Festival of the Lion King

When venturing into Animal Kingdom make sure to stop by Africa for this wild experience. This show is one of, if not the best, shows in all of Walt Disney World. The life performers combined with the classic music will leave you smiling and clapping along.

Toy Story Mania

If you’ve got a competitive side then you need to head over to Hollywood Studios for Toy Story Mania. This ride puts you right into the movie and shrinks you down to toy-sized. You’ll be able to battle your partner as you both navigate through Toy Story inspired games. May the best toy win!

Soarin’

The recently renovated Soarin’ now takes you all over the globe to see some of the best landmarks the world has to over. You’ll be able to travel from Sydney to Africa to India, and so many more. Get your hang gliders ready for this worldwide adventure you’ll never forget

Expedition Everest

If you have the courage to face the Yeti then you better hop aboard the train as you travel through the tallest mountain on Earth. No only does this thrilling roller coaster make your heart race, but it also offers some of the best views in Disney. And beware, the Yeti may just disrupt your track a bit…

Fantasmic

When it comes to the nighttime entertainment, Hollywood Studios does not disappoint with this mesmerizing show. Follow Mickey Mouse has he travels through his dreams, filled with your favorite characters, and maybe a few villains. This show is must so don’t forget to arrive early to get a great seat!

People Mover

Here we have what I like to call the “lazy river” of Disney. This relaxing ride transports guests above Tomorrowland and serves as the perfect break from all the walking.

Haunted Mansion

Welcome foolish mortals to this classic attraction. Hop on to your own person “doom-buggy” as you come face to face with 999 friendly ghosts. This one can get a little creepy, especially for the little ones, but is definitely one of the best attractions Disney has to offer.

Kilamanjaro Safari

If you go to Animal Kingdom and don’t go on this safari you have not had a successful Disney day! This fantastic safari features some of the world’s most beautiful animals, like giraffes, hippos, and my personal favorite, elephants. If you act fast you may even be able to get a glimpse of the new baby elephant, Stella!

Wishes

Last, but certainly not least, Wishes is hands-down the best form of entertainment in all of Walt Disney World. This firework spectacular is truly breathtaking. I don’t know about you, but I can’t help but tear up every time I see these fireworks light up the sky above Cinderella’s castle.

Hopefully, this list will make your next trip to the happiest place on earth a little more magical.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
