Perhaps it seems a little early to put the jackets away, however with this unusually warm weather, and march being just around the corner, I think it's safe to say it's time to get ready for spring!

I'll give you a quick guide to what's hot and in trend for this spring, along with the best places to get the looks you'll want.

I don't know about y'all, but last winter I was all about a romper! Rompers are still going to be quite popular for spring. Chiffon and velvet will be the hot fabrics you'll see worn, along with furry tops and all things textured.

Dress, dresses, and more dresses! Open back, cutout, tie in front, or deep-V, you can't go wrong with a dress!

Don't throw out those high waisted jeans! In fact, high waisted everything is still big for this spring. Just make sure to incorporate more spring-friendly colors, like peach and white, as opposed to greens, and burgundies. They'll be perfect to pair with crop tops, which you'll see a lot of, along with bell sleeves.

Lace is also a very popular material this fall, and ripped jeans, shorts, and t-shirts thanks to Yeezy are still very trendy.

The best place locally to get these trendy must have looks is at Miss Behavin on the square. They have the in demand styles, along with what will be in stye in the near future, however they are a bit pricey. If you're looking for a more budget friendly store, try Charlotte Russe, they have all the most popular trends at extremely reasonable prices. American Eagle and Buckle are two other places that will be carrying the latest and greatest for spring fashion. Don't forget to sign up for free coupons with these stores online, and also follow your favorite boutique on Instagram to be aware of pop up sales.

Happy shopping ladies! And a very happy spring!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
