"The Walking Dead" Returns: How To Prepare For Season 6

We have waited over six long months for this weekend. On October 11, 2015, season six of "The Walking Dead" will premiere on AMC at 9 p.m./8c.

Here's a guide to help get your spirits in "The Walking Dead" mood.

1. Watch Walking (And Talking) Dead

2. Learn about their #TBTs

Andrew Lincoln (Rick)

Maxie King

Steven Yeun (Glenn)

My Name is Jerry

Norman Reedus (Daryl)

You might remember him from "The Boondock Saints." Reedus has been acting since 1997, so it might be a little unfair to include his role of Judas in Lady Gaga's music video, which came out in 2011, after TWD. Here it is anyway.

Lauren Cohan (Maggie)

"Modern Family" (She's the receptionist; she's wearing a wig.)

Scott Wilson (Hershel)

"Shiloh"

4. And Walker #TBTs

There are countless amounts of walkers on TWD. Sometimes, the actors playing zombies are reused, doused in different make-up and clothes. But how do they make each walker vary? They have their inspirations.

On the left are zombies from movies/etc. and on the right are TWD's walkers.

"Dawn of the Dead"

"Flyboy"

"Red Flannel Zombie"

"American Werewolf"

"Jack Goodman"

The detail is incredible, especially considering the fact that these walkers are usually mixed in with others, so they aren't able to be seen as, say, the walkers with larger roles. The ones that really feast.

5. Look out for impostors.

Yes, those really cute impostors.

6. Make festive dishes.

Did you ever imagine there would be "The Walking Dead" inspired recipes?

Meat Hand

A brave blogger came up with this recipe. The nails and wrist bone are onion!

7. Look the part.

You could buy a $35 cross bow to be like Daryl Dixon, or if you find cheaper options, and spend on average, at least $10 on each part of the costume.

I don't know about you, but plastic ears on a string is not worth $8. Assuming you'll only be wearing it once, it might be better to be a walker instead.

8. Or, you can make your own ears.

9. If you haven't yet, watch the Webisodes.

10. Re-Watch TWD.

11. And "Fear The Walking Dead"

I hope this guide adds fuel to "The Walking Dead" fire burning inside you. Get ready for Halloween mode (if you're not already there) but more importantly, fill it with your favorite flesh-hungry monsters.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
