You guys are amazing

If you are lucky enough to have siblings like mine, you'll understand why they are the biggest blessing in my life. Even with all the fighting, we did as kids, there will never be anyone in my life as special to me as my siblings. Here's to more years of laughs and love with you guys.

You have friends for life.

From day one, whether you are the older or younger sibling, you have a friend. Someone to watch you grow and help you learn. From learning how to ride a bike to graduating high school and applying to colleges, your siblings will be right by your side cheering you on in every move. My siblings make me laugh harder than anyone ever can and have been my best friends since the day I was born.

They'll be completely honest with you.

It's nice having someone be completely honest with you. If you're looking for brutal honesty, turn to your siblings. They'll tell you when they don't like the guy you brought home or that they think you're making some stupid decisions. They aren't telling you these things to hurt your feelings, although sometimes it might hurt to hear. They're telling you the truth because they're looking out for you. They have your best interest at heart, it's just hard to see that sometimes.

You never get lonely.

Growing up in my house, there was never a time that I was home alone. My siblings were always there with me. While sometimes it was frustrating because I just wanted some time to myself, overall it was really nice having them there with me. I always had someone to play with or talk to. I never felt alone. I had my three best friends living with me and that was the greatest thing I could ask for. With siblings, even when they weren't physically there, I knew they were just a phone call away and that is very comforting to me.

The love between siblings is like none other.

I am one of four siblings and growing up that seemed like a lot. It was always chaotic and noisy, someone was always crying. Between the fights and the crying, my siblings taught me to love like no other. The memories we shared as children and that we continue to make as we grow is something so special. I will never love someone as much as I love my sisters or my brother. I'm am so thankful to have them in my life and for all the amazing things they have taught me. No matter what, I will love them forever.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
