There are so many Broadway Musicals that everyone needs to know. These shows are fabulous. They inspire tears of laughter and tears of sorrow. They might even change your life! I know some of these shows have changed mine. There are some great shows out there that not everyone knows and they should. So here is a short list of great Broadway shows that you should listen to right now.

Newsies

This one might be more well known for how AMAZING it is. But this show changes lives all over the country. All you need to do to succeed is to “Open the gates and seize the day!” You will love this family-friendly upbeat musical! I know I do! There was a new song added for the touring production and Cruchie sings it! Look it up! It is called, "Letter From the Refuge!" This is my new favorite song ever!

Addams Family

This is a great new Addams Family Story. This story tells of Wednesday falling in love! Oh man, it is so much fun! Everyone will be listening to this show this Halloween!

Starlight Express

This is a great Family show about the little steam engine that could. Except it is so much better than just the steam engine that could. This is about love and seeing you for who you really are! I love this show. It is my favorite musical!

Matilda the Musical

This is the story of Matilda... In a musical! The music in this show is beautiful and everyone will love the powerful story that Matilda has always shared.

Aida

This show has a ton of lessons. And you get great Elton John music with powerful Tim Rice lyrics! They are a power duo that no one can rival. This show is powerful and so fun. Everyone will love this show.

Evita

This is the true story of Eva Peron from Argentina. This is a powerful story that will tell you how she rose to power and how the country fell in love with her. It is just too beautiful for words.

Shrek the Musical

If you liked the movie you will laugh even harder at this show. It is done so well that you start wanting to watch this show instead of the movie. This show will always bring a smile to your face even if you are having a bad day!

Legally Blonde

This is so great! You wouldn’t think this would work as a Musical, but it does. This show is my guilty pleasure. I love how great the music is. And you get more of Elle and Emmett's story.

Finding Neverland

The music in this just cannot be rivaled! This is the story of how Peter Pan came to be. And it is a tear-jerker! One of my really good friends told me to listen to this so I thank her heartily for introducing me to this beauty! Everyone will love this show just like we all loved the movie.

Wonderland

This is a fun modern story of Alice in Wonderland! There are many great songs and so many fun dance breaks. Everyone will love the music and how great everyone sings!
