Thanksgiving season is upon us, and for many of us, that means a whirlwind break, a barrage of projects, and looming finals. As the weather cools down (or heats up if you live in Texas) then you might find yourself losing touch with your inner sunshine. With that said, here are 20 of life's simple pleasures to bring some of those warm fuzzies back.

1. White, fluffy clouds

2. Chocolate milk

3. Extra shots of expresso

4. Indie Playlists (here's mine, if you're interested)

5. Extra cold water

6. These actual ice cubes

7. Crisp leaf smell

8. Excited puppies

9. Long hugs

10. Fuzzy socks

11. Cards Against Humanity

12. Clean, warm sheets right out of the laundry

13. Fabric softener

14. Freshly baked Chiquita banana bread

15. A gentle breeze

16. A bustling, yet intimate coffee shop

17. Babies laughing or babbling

18. Oversized sweaters

19. Nutella toast

20. Spending time with the people you love the most

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
